A couple of weeks ago we were honored when Neal Adams came by to help us in our month-long celebration of our 38th year in the comic business, and to share the joy with our customers, we gave away a few signed Neal Adams items, including a grand prize sketch of Batman.

I’ll let you in on a little not-so-secret about comics… No one gets into comics to get rich. We do it because we love it. Because we love the medium, the characters, the universes and connecting with like-minded folks. As a comic retailer, the best part of the job is seeing the smiling faces of fellow fans when they get to meet a legend like Neal Adams, or when they get their hands on something cool. Meet Comics Legend Neal Adams Wednesday June 18th at 11:00Pm to 3:00pm. Neal Adams is a towering figure in the world of comic book creation and art, and has had legendary runs on Batman, X-Men, Green Lantern-Green Arrow and Deadman. Adams transformed Batman from the campy nostalgia of the television show and refit him into what has become known as the "modern Batman" and the “Avenger of the Night.” His run on Batman led directly to the new, more realistic incarnation in “Batman Returns” movie, which featured Neal's own creation -- Ras Al Ghul!

First autograph is FREE! (Additional autographs are $10ea.) Portfolios, Art Prints, Books and Sketches will be available for purchase!
