In light of the current state of the world due to Covid-19 and the inability for some of our patrons to make it in to our stores, we at Fat Jack’s Comicrypt have decided to launch live sales on our Facebook page starting September 27, 2020.  Our first sale will be from 7PM-9 PM on Sunday the 27^th.  We will be offering collectible back issues of comic books, new & backstock trade paperbacks and hardcovers, original art, statues, and merchandise.  We will also have collectibles consigned to us that will be showcased in the show.

Having just passed our 44^th year in business, Fat Jack’s is one of the oldest comic stores in the country, and we want to bring comics to fans for years to come, and this new platform will allow us to do that.

Of special note is the complete original art for Black Panther #2 with art by John Romita Jr and Klaus Janson, featuring the very first appearance of Shuri – who became one of the most popular heroines who was in the Premiere Black Panther movie, and whose back issue comic appearances are heating up the charts.  We will also have issue #1 complete issue for sale.  These will be sold as one single lot.  This opportunity will not present itself again as the consignor has stated that he is only offering it on this show, and then not again for the foreseeable future if it doesn’t sell.

We will also offer the actual copy of Action Comics #8 which was used as evidence in the lawsuit DC Comics brought against Fawcett Publishing over the Captain Marvel character in the 1940’s.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a piece of history.  We would like to thank JHV Associates for cosigning this special historic issue with us. Additional Golden Age & Silver Age comics will be up for sale.
